AI character badges — licensed IP and idol editions that talk back
A badge shows the character. An AI badge lets fans talk to it — the character’s face on the round screen, its personality from the character bible, its licensed voice through the speaker. Same Wi-Fi hardware as our selfie badge; what we add is the persona, the app and the servers that keep it on-model.
Who usually comes to us for this
Idol agencies
An official edition fans can talk to, in the artist’s licensed voice — instead of the unlicensed voice clones already circulating.
Anime and game IP holders
A character that lives on the fan’s bag, remembers them and stays in character, as a licensed merch line above printed badges.
Merch and AI toy brands
An original-character badge where buyers build a persona from a voice library — no licence needed to start.
VTubers and creators
A talking badge in the creator’s own voice and persona, for fans to carry between streams.
What makes an AI badge work
The voice has to be licensed
Chinese courts have ruled that an AI-cloned voice is protected when listeners can recognise it, and deep-synthesis rules require the person’s consent. So voices come from licensed recordings or the user’s own verified voice, and celebrity voiceprints are blocked.
It has to stay in character
Persona rules, a knowledge base built from the story and blocked-topic lists agreed with the licensor, tested against awkward questions before launch and updated over the air after.
It has to respect a crowd
Push-to-talk, not always-listening: the badge never records unless the button is held, which also stretches the battery through a day out.
Someone has to run the servers
Every conversation costs cloud time. We deliver the LLM routing, memory and moderation, and help plan the usage model — included minutes, a fan subscription, or a capped allowance.
Three ways to launch
Official licensed edition
Your character or artist, licensed voice, persona written with your team, numbered packaging. The edition fans trust.

Original-character edition
Buyers create their own character in your branded app from a curated voice library — no licence required.
Best for · Merch and AI toy brands
Buyers often ask
Can fans clone their idol’s voice in the app?
No — and that is deliberate. A real person’s voice is protected even when generated by AI. Idol voices are available only in official editions licensed by the artist or agency; users can clone only their own voice, after verification.
How is it different from your Wi-Fi selfie badge?
The hardware is the same platform plus a microphone and speaker. The difference is everything around it: persona, voice licensing, the app and the servers — which is why it is quoted as its own programme.
Which AI models does it use?
Doubao, Qwen or ERNIE for China; GPT, Gemini or Claude overseas — chosen per programme for cost, latency and language.
Who owns the persona and fan data?
You do. Persona, knowledge base and voice assets are your IP under contract and NDA; servers can run on your own cloud for data residency.

Describe the badge you want to sell.
The model or idea, a quantity, where it sells and any date it has to meet — that is plenty for a first answer. One of our engineers replies within one business day.
